Not sure how gentoo handles network configuration, but netcf only
handles initscripts (and some sysfs AFAIK) like fedora uses in
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts. So it could take a bit of work for netcf
to function on gentoo, however netcf is intended to abstract distro
specific network config so it would be great to get gentoo support.
