hi,
I am using virtual manager on fedora 12. If I try to upload a tar file
to a stopped vm, I get these errors:
]# virt-tar -u wiki test.tar /tmp/
/dev/sr0: No medium found at
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.10.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/Sys/Guestfs/Lib.pm
line 214.
]# virt-tar -u wiki test.tar /tmp/
unknown filesystem /dev/hdc
tar_in: write: /tmp/: Broken pipe at /usr/bin/virt-tar line 246.
The first one is kind of silly :). The system is stopped but still it
checks if the cdrom is connected. I just have to disconnect it and the
error goes away; the seccond error is the fatal one. I cannot use
virt-tar as advertised in the man page. This is a fedora 12 system
# virt-tar --version
1.0.85
Any ideas?
