Well, depends ;)  In current upstrem (and Fedora 14) you can mix and 
match as you like as long as you have a single display only.

Multiheading with multiple qxl devices requires spice though, vnc 
exposes the primary display only.

Also older spice deployments are more restrictive.  In RHEL-5 spice+qxl 
depend on each other. In RHEL-6 you can display anything using spice, 
but rendering qxl on non-spice stops working as soon as the guest loads 
the qxl drivers.

Oh, and you can activate both spice and vnc at the same time.

Indeed.  Even though the other combinations work and can be used if 
there is some reason spice gives best results when combined with qxl.
