I was wrong about one thing:  VM can and does tolerate IPv6 dhcp-range 
and IPv6 dhcp-host specifications.

However, there was also a bug found ... it is valid to specify prefix= 
rather than netmask= for an IPv4 address definition but virt-manager 
cannot handle this.
