For the record, this really should have been

Returns: (transfer full)
OsinfoDeviceList *osinfo_device_driver_get_devices(OsinfoDeviceDriver *driver, OsinfoFilter *filter)

for consistency with OsinfoOs, OsinfoPlatform and OsinfoDeployment :-/
