[virt-tools-list] [PATCH] Add QEMU/KVM detection for ACPI-boot ARM
Andrew Jones
drjones at redhat.com
Tue Sep 22 13:54:55 UTC 2015
Detect QEMU/KVM on ARM guests that have been boot with ACPI, i.e.
without device tree. When boot with ACPI SMBIOS is populated, so we
can use dmidecode.
Signed-off-by: Andrew Jones <drjones at redhat.com>
---
Tested on an aarch64 guest. Testing requires pretty recent QEMU,
AAVMF, and dmidecode; but all three of those components have the
necessary patches upstream. I'm going to look into a systemd-detect-
virt patch now too.
