I think you are right. I downgraded to Virt-manager 0.8.3 and virtinst 0.500.2 
which has an other behaviour: the virtual machine is stopped after the first 
installation stage of Windows XP. But if we start again the virtual machine, 
the installation process can be correctly completed.
